Meet Annette Lee, the Owner and President of Metro Detroit, LLC

Annette Lee, the owner and President of Metro Detroit, LLC, has nearly 20 years of practical and management experience in the janitorial services industry.

Annette began her career as a part-time custodian in 1987. She soon earned a full-time position and was quickly promoted to the supervisory ranks. Over the next two decades, she excelled in supervisory and management roles for building services companies at various locations in and around Detroit including the Renaissance Center.

Annette has successfully managed building maintenance challenges of all sizes, including facilities extending over multiple sites requiring hundreds of cleaning personnel. Her most recent responsibilities, before starting up Metro Detroit, were as Operations Manager for building maintenance at the World Headquarters of General Motors Corporation in Downtown Detroit. This 5,000,000-square-foot facility encompasses offices in Detroit’s Renaissance Center, River East Center, and Millender Center.

Annette is married to Benjamin Lee, a Commander in the Detroit Police Department. She is a native and current resident of Detroit, and is highly involved in the community. Annette’s work in heading up a Community Outreach Program in Detroit touches the lives of many individuals and families in and around the city.
